Joy| I live in Vernon, British Columbia Canada! We are surrounded by lakes and mountains! It is a beautiful and wonderous place to live!! If you get the chance to come here, be sure to visit Silver Star Mountain, for skiing, snowboarding, tubing, hiking, bike trails! The lakes are amazing, cruise up and down the lake, by boat or if you are a little more daring try your had at waterskiing, wakeboarding, or wind surfing! For those with an itch for an adrenalin rush go parachuting, or sky diving! We have an amazing museum here, and check out our art gallery of amazing talent! For those of you that like a scare, go on the ghost trail walking tour, thats sure to send a shiver down your spine! Don't forget the wine train that tours the vineyards and gives you a heady taste of the Okanagan! For those of you that can't get enough of canning and jam making! Visit the orchards! We have an abundance of fruit here in the Okanagan! Apples, Cherries, Pears, Peaches, Apricots, Strawberries, & Raspberries to name a few!! Our farmers markets also have alot of fresh vegetables and artisan crafts! We have fun in abundance here!! Something for just about everyone! Hope to see you coming my way some time in the future!!! |
